Texas! Tyler Family Saga Book 2
Genre: Romance
Release Date: 1991-07-01
Kindle Price: 7.99
, by Sandra Brown, is the second book and starts out with a lot of grief and heartache. We get to see Chase and his family go through the pain of losing his wife Tanya and their unborn child. Chase is punishing himself and his family by drinking and taking up bull riding on the rodeo circuit. This causes his family to live in a constant state of worry and panic. Chase is the oldest out of three grown children in the Tyler family. In this book we get to see the struggle and the torture that Chase goes through first losing his wife and later on when he finds love again.

“I loved Tanya so much Marcie,”

“I know that,”

“But you can’t understand..nobody can understand how much I loved her. She was kind and caring. She never wanted to make waves, couldn’t abide anyone’s being upset.”

“She made bad days better and good days great,”

I liked this book even better than the first one. I feel like Chase and Marcy’s sexual chemistry was off the charts. Maybe because Marcy and Chase had known each other since grade school and Marcy had secret been in love with him for years. Another reason is Marcy was the “nerd” while Chase was the “popular” type.

“Kiss me. Kiss me right.”

“I dare you.”

I love all the secondary characters in this series. The family’s back and forth banter shows how much they love one another and kept me in stitches. The Tyler family is among my favorite families that are featured in books. They are warm, loving, and full of inappropriate humor, which is my favorite kind. In this book the family is a little bit bigger and definitely louder and bawdier. Sandra Brown gives us more of a good thing. Wait till you hear next week what I think about Texas! SageTexas! SageTexas! Sage by Sandra Brown
