Review: Pulling Her Trigger by Alexa Riley

(Reviewed by Cathy Stansell of Rochelle’s Reviews)

Pulling Her Trigger by Alexa RileyThis is the first book from Alexa Riley’s The Ghost Riders MC series. MC books are my favorite so I jumped at the chance to read this series. I love to read about powerful and respected women so this book was extra special for me. I absolutely enjoyed reading Mackenzie and Vincent’s love story.

Mackenzie aka (Casper) is one bad ass lady. She is fiery, feisty, and just as tough as any man. That is until she wants to calm down and become a lady. She is a tiny women that packs an enormous punch. She is not interested in Vincent at all, because he is an FBI agent snooping around the club. As they say, keep your enemies close!

Vincent is an Italian hunk, and Mackenzie can not deny that. He sees a picture of her and actually falls in love with her before they even meet. He resorts to engaging in stalking behavior to get to know her better. He even releases his excitement all over the side of her house while watching her, if you get my drift…

Vincent and Mackenzie do fall in love though, and it’s a love that he is willing to risk his career for. Mackenzie is in some trouble from her past that she really could not avoid. After knowing the circumstances Vincent will protect her at all cost.

I thought it ended well and can be read alone. I am the type that I can’t wait to read about the other characters. I am sure that in reading the series that I will see more of Casper and Vincent. I liked the fact that Alexa wrote about a strong woman. In my book women can do just about anything a man can do. Thanks for showing that can happen Alexa. I am getting revved up to read the next book in this series.
