Review! King by T.M. Frazier

(Reviewed by Cathy Stansell of Rochelle’s Reviews)

King by T.m. FrazierThis is the first book that I have read by T.M. Frazier, and won’t be the last! This was such an outstanding read, it left me wanting more so I will be reading the next book immediately.

This is Pup and Brantley’s love story. I love this couple together even though the way they became a couple was not under normal circumstances.

Brantley (aka King) is one complicated man. He is a criminal with a big heart even though he tries to hide it. He gets released from a three year stint in prison and he feels misplaced. He just does not fit in anymore. Things are just different, then he sees a beautiful pair of blue eyes and then his life begins to change. It took me awhile to warm up to him but I ended up loving him by the end.

“I’m old enough to know that I’m a grown-ass man who shouldn’t be wanting a girl like you in my BED. A young and innocent beautiful….very fucking Sexy girl. But just because I shouldn’t WANT you doesn’t mean I won’t HAVE you.”

Doe (aka Pup) is a girl that woke up not knowing who she is or where she belongs. A hooker helps her out and feeds her. She tells her that her only way to make it on the streets is to sell her body. They go to a party for bikers intending for her to sell herself for cash, but the party is not what she thought it would be and she is in for some deep trouble.

I tattooed my name into her perfect ivory skin. I introduced her to my depraved shit excuse of a life. I hate who I am but love the way she makes me feel. I’m a selfish asshole because I am keeping her. She’s mine and I’m not giving her back.

This book is packed full of well thought out characters. It will keep you on your toes while reading. I cried and laughed while reading this book. It is such an awesome book that you will be turning and turning the pages to read.

I will give a warning this book ends and you are waiting to read the next one. I plan on reading Tyrant next. I want to see more and more of King and Doe. I also want to learn more about Preppy. I want to thank T.M Frazier for writing such an outstanding book. Now I must go and start the next book.

“I’ve found myself again in the haunted eyes of a girl who was just as lost as I was. Or maybe, we didn’t find each other at all. Maybe, we just decided to be lost together.”
