One accident changed my life.
One single second changed everything for me.
In one terrifying moment, everything I knew was gone.
Music is the only thing that keeps me holding on.
When the opportunity arises for me to tour with country music star, Scarlett Belle, I take it.
An escape.
A chance.
Only it isn’t enough to lift the shadows of my past.
And when I meet him, dangerous and different, I can’t turn away.
He is forbidden to me.
The President of a Motorcycle Club.
A man who could bring noise back into my soundless world.
But the shadows of my past haunt me.
They linger like a dark nightmare, reminding me that we can never be.
Because my sins are far too heavy.
And my mind far too broken.
Music is the only escape I can allow into my life.
The only one that I will let seep through my hungry veins.
But he’s always there.
And he’s persistent.
But if he knew what I kept behind closed doors…no.
I must continue my life just the way it is.
Without him.
Breathing in my nightmare.
Living in my Hushed Torment.

This is the second book in the Iron Fury MC series. After I read Whiskey Burning I could not wait to read this one. I certainly was not disappointed at all. I would suggest that you read Whiskey Burning first because it all ties together. You could read it alone but I just love the back story.

This story is about Amalie and Malaki. Amalie blames herself for the terrible accident she was in with her ex-boyfriend. She just always feels that it was her fault. She carries around so much guilt that your heart will go out to her through the whole book. The accident left her with a hearing loss and him not being able to walk. She feels so bad about it that she visits him every single day. He treats her so bad but she just keeps on taking it from him. She secretly wants Malaki but she can not forgive herself from feeling that way about him. Heck she doesn’t even let him or anyone else know about her hearing loss. Amalie is so sweet you just want to see her happy through the whole book. I felt so sorry for her.

Caiden is an ass. I mean really an ass. He takes everything out on her. He makes it hard for her to forgive herself because he always making her think it is all her fault. Even her own mother treats her horrible. While reading this book you will wish that you could smack Caiden and her mother.

I wanted Amalie and Malaki to get together. They were good for each other. Amalie minds her own business and works at playing the piano. She wants to have a good man treat her the way she deserves to be treated. So you will be cheering them on. Malaki wants her and doesn’t really hide it at all.

Amalie has so many demons chasing her it is sad. She tries to hide her past from Malaki. She is afraid it will change the way he sees her. I felt like her problem was her always afraid of him finding out about her past. Finally they get together and it will make you so happy.

Malaki is the president of the Iron Fury MC Club. He is like all of them. Hot and sexy and he doesn’t make any bones about it. He is in charge. This book is full of twist and turns and will keep you on your toes.

Bella Jewel is such an awesome writer. I love the way she writes and will never stop reading her books. I am excited to read the next book she has. Thanks Bella Jewel for the awesome writing. Please hurry up with the next one I am more than anxious to read.
