Just Released + Official Review! Dear Jane by Kendall Ryan

I broke her heart ten years ago and left town.

She hates me, and rightly so. It doesn’t matter that the rest of the country loves me, that I’m a starting quarterback with a multimillion-dollar contract. Because when I look in the mirror, all I see is a failure who was too young—and too afraid—to fight for what I wanted.

But I’m not that guy anymore, and all I need is one shot to convince her.

He has no idea what happened after he left. And now I’m supposed to work alongside him like we don’t have this huge, messy history?

But I’m older now, wiser, and I won’t let anything stand in my way of doing a good job for this league. Not even one overpaid, arrogant player who thinks we’re going to kiss and make up.

News flash, buddy: I am over you.

I received a copy and voluntarily left a review and all opinions are my own.

I have grown to love each one of the stories that Kendall Ryan has written starting with Monster Prick, falling in love with each one of the Kingsley brothers and every romance in between. Something about her stories resonates in my heart and always leaves me with a happy ever after glow about me. Opening Dear Jane was no different yet not the same. I always fall in love in a new and different way than her story before and it wasn’t long and she had me head over heels for this couple that survived heart ache and first love a decade ago yet have never gotten over one another. Jane and Wes are all repressed desires and first everythings wrapped up in mistakes and regrets that need to be set right. “Dear Jane” is heart fluttering, moving, and all kinds of hot and steamy that you can’t help but want to absorb page after page.

Janie Royce is a woman who has only had one love and he left her for his career path which has made her an older, wiser, more weary woman to love. So when Wes comes barreling back in her life even more charming and heart stoppingly handsome than ever before, all she can do is hold onto her heart and her desires for dear life and hope that she doesn’t come away again broken and shattered. I loved every moment of her and Wes’ love story from the back seat grope sessions, to their emotion crushing disappointments, and their crazed desire for each other. I couldn’t get enough of these two from start to finish and was left constantly cheering for more! Jane is a heroine who knows her football, has professionalism from the tip top of her head to her painted toes, and no matter how hard she tries, cannot conceal her love for Wes.

Weston Chase is my idea of a football hottie with just as much heart and charisma as he has muscles! I couldn’t but fall head over heels for both the young man experiencing his first bout of lust and love and the man who chose his career over pursuing the woman of his dreams. He is hard working when it comes to football and matters of the heart and will stop at nothing to go after what he wants and right now that is his first and only love…Jane. He made me weak in the knees and left a permanent impression on my heart.

Kendall Ryan delivers a love story that the reader gets to experience from bud to blossom and all the excruciating and titillating details in between. I highly recommend “Dear Jane” for a scorching, emotion wrecking read that will leave you a mess with new characters that you fell for and can now obsess over again and again! I never tire of reading Kendall Ryan’s stories and always end a story pining for yet another. She has created an insatiable and greedy reader who will never be truly appeased, and I am okay with that as long as she keeps writing and feeding my imagination with her amazing characters and their awe inspiring romances!
